Built Different. Built to Last.
Family-owned, locally rooted, and committed to building outdoor spaces that stand the test of time on the Cape Fear Coast.
From Humble Beginnings to Wilmington's Trusted Builder
Forest Outdoor Living was founded in 2022 with a simple belief: your outdoor space should be as beautiful and functional as the inside of your home.
Led by owner Jose Avendaño and a team of 10+ skilled craftsmen, we bring decades of combined experience to every project. We know the Cape Fear Coast — the salt air, the sandy soil, the hurricane seasons — and we build accordingly.
Every project is managed in-house from initial design to final walkthrough. No subcontractors. No middlemen. Just a team that takes pride in honest work and lasting results.
Today, we're proud to be one of the most trusted outdoor living contractors in the Wilmington area, with a 4.9-star reputation built on hundreds of successful projects and long-term customer relationships.
